Spill Hound Oil Absorbent is derived from the fiber processing residuals of an oil-bearing plant. The internal capillary structure of Spill Hound was created by nature to be highly oleophillic (oil loving). The oleophillic surface of Spill Hound attracts oil strongly, it is then absorbed into the capillary internal structure, where it remains locked in. When applied to a spillage, Spill Hound soaks up the spilled oil, transferring it inside Spill Hound's micro-capillary structure.
