What types of work are high lift trucks used for?
Our pallet trucks are used particularly frequently for warehouse work. They are equipped with a stable mast, a high-quality lifting mechanism and robust forks. This makes it possible, for example, to transport pallets quickly and effortlessly on a level surface. While our low lift pallet trucks and hand pallet trucks are designed for working at ground level, you can also lift goods onto raised shelves and racking levels with the load forks of our high lift pallet trucks.
The lifting forks can be used to place goods weighing up to 2,800 kilograms at a loading height of up to 5.5 metres.

Do I need a pallet truck or forklift truck?
The high lift pallet truck is a real alternative to the forklift truck, particularly due to its manoeuvrability and low weight. After all, the latter requires a counterweight, which reduces its manoeuvrability and flexibility somewhat - especially in confined spaces. In addition, a high lift pallet truck is also ideal for storing larger loads in higher racking levels. It allows you to save space and work precisely - even in confined spaces or narrow aisles.
Another advantage is that you only need specialist instruction to operate a high-lift truck. To drive a forklift truck however, you need a forklift driver's licence.
What is the right pallet truck for my application?

How does a manual pallet truck work?
With manual pallet trucks, also known as hand stackers or hand pallet trucks, the goods are moved in the desired direction using muscle power and a flexible tiller. The inexpensive hand pallet truck with low underride height is particularly suitable where light loads need to be transported and storage work is only required to a small extent. For loading and unloading lorries, for example, the use of manual pallet trucks with a maximum load capacity of 1,500 kilograms is recommended.
What is a semi-electric pallet truck?
The semi-electric high-lift truck has a lift motor and is a mixture of the manual and electric versions. The high-lift trolley is pulled manually using physical strength. The lift, on the other hand, is electric and therefore does not require the use of muscle power. The semi-electric pallet truck is particularly suitable for medium-heavy goods. It is easy to operate and is therefore recommended for daily use, especially on short transport routes.
